Dr. Swapnil Gautam has received MBBS & MD qualifications from the prestigious institute of Grant Medical College & Sir J J Group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He has served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine in the same institution.

He stands out to receive MRCP from three colleges-Royal College of Physicians (London), Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons (Glasgow) and Royal College of Physicians (Edinburgh). He is practicing the medical profession at various flagship medical centers of the city and suburbs. He specializes in Infectious diseases and holds a specialization degree from London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and from the University of New South Wales, Sydney.

He has dealt with thousands of patients afflicted with the Covid-19 infection, in the recent prevailing pandemic. His special areas of interests in this field are: Chest infections-Tuberculosis & Pneumonia, Urinary tract infection, HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Surgical Site infections, Bones & Joints infections, Brain infections, any kind of abdominal infections, and Tropical infections like Malaria, Typhoid, Dengue, Scrub Typhus, Chikungunya, and Leptospirosis. Besides that, he also takes care of prevention and treatment of health problems in international travelers. He guided the vaccination of Adult Population, which is one of the most ignored parts of our health care services. He treated many patients with Diabetes Mellitus, Hypertension, Asthma, Allergy, and Thyroid disorders with commendable success.
